Ring of Kerry, Wednesday 31st From Killarney we drove round the north coast of the Iveragh Peninsula and returned via Ballaghisheen Pass.

Ross Castle, Friday 2nd We walked from the hotel to Muckross Abbey and House, and through the wooded north and west sides of Muckross Lake to Dinis Cottage, whence we took a boat across Lough Leane to Ross Castle, which is a 15th-century tower house.
