Saturday 14th, ascent of the Petite Aiguille Verte (3512 m) View E from the Col des Grands Montets across the Glacier d'Argentière. L'Aiguille du Chardonnet (3824 m) is towards the R of the L picture; on the L of the R picture is the Aiguille d'Argentière (3879 m), with the Glacier du Chardonnet between them; in the centre of the R picture is the Tour Noir (3837 m), with the Glacier des Améthystes on its L and the Glacier du Tour Noir on its R.
